Coffee by bike: My Favourite Spots in Valencia for a Bike Ride Treat

There's something about loading the kids onto the bikes and just going — no real plan, just the city, the fresh air, and the promise of a good coffee and a treat somewhere along the way. Valencia is incredible for this. And if you know where to stop, it gets even better.
I'm someone who genuinely loves discovering special places. I'll spend hours researching food spots, coffee shops, hidden gems — not for work, just because finding somewhere wonderful and sharing it with the people I love is one of my favourite things. I chose four places that go perfectly combined with a bike ride and the people who make the coffee know their business and are also the nicest.
Cafeinomanos is for the coffee lovers. Seriously good coffee and a great place to buy coffee. You can tell that Ivan knows what he is doing. The space feels friendly and running into locals that come back all the time makes it feel intimate and special. Coffee also comes with a smile and good humor, what more you can ask for? @cafeinomanosvlc
Singular — and singular is genuinely the right word. There's something a little different about this spot. The passion of the owners for food and creating different special combinations is my favorite thing. The crois combine perfectly with a coffee, but I also recommend trying their matcha, especially the cold flavoured version. @singularcoffeevlc
Vuka This is a hidden gem right in the center. The coffee is amazing but the treats are something I dream about. My kid loves this place, happy kids, happy mama. I recommend trying the cinnamon rolls and the chipas. @vukacafe
Putocafe — the name alone makes me smile every time. Bold, a little cheeky, and the coffee matches the personality. It's the kind of place that feels like a discovery even when you already know it's there. If you need a strong coffee this is the place. @putocafeoficial
The beauty of all four of these places is the same thing: you can arrive on a bike, kids in tow, and you are welcome. No fuss. Just good coffee, great pastries, and the kind of stop in the day that feels like a small gift.
If you're in Valencia and you ride, add these to your route.
