ABUS UGRIP BORDO™ 5700K

The ABUS uGrip BORDO™ 5700K is a compact folding lock designed for cyclists requiring a lightweight, portable security solution for low to medium-risk environments. It holds ABUS Security Level 7 and carries ice-spray resistance certification.

The bars are 5 mm thick steel, connected by specially engineered rivets that allow flexible folding while maintaining structural rigidity. The high-quality automatic cylinder enables fast, single-handed locking. On the 100 cm version, the Convenient Transport Mode (CTM) allows immediate deployment of the lock without unfolding the full length first. On the core colour versions, the lock body is colour-matched to the bars for a unified finish.

The SH 5700 frame mount bracket is included, allowing the lock to be carried securely on the bicycle frame during transit. The bracket has a latching mechanism and is mounted with rubberised anti-slip Velcro straps or with screws on the bottle cage mounts. The lock is removed frontally from the carrier with one hand. The shorter 80 cm version is lighter and more compact, while the 100 cm version offers more flexibility when securing the bicycle to fixed objects. Available in a range of colours.

The uGrip BORDO 5700K is suited as a primary lock in low-risk environments or as a secondary lock paired with a higher-security chain or U-lock for higher-value bicycles.
