ABUS YARDO 7807F/85 black

The ABUS YARDO 7807F/85 is a fingerprint chain lock designed for cyclists requiring fast, keyless security for low to medium risk environments. It holds ABUS Security Level 8 and is certified dustproof and waterproof to IP66 and IP68.

The chain is 7 mm thick round steel, connected at both ends to a coated zinc die cast lock body. The capacitive fingerprint sensor recognises up to 20 fingerprints, of which the first two enrolled are administrator profiles, allowing the lock to be shared between several users. The lock engages automatically when the chain ends are inserted into the lock body, and a double ball bearing locking system provides improved resistance to forced opening. The lock body is encased in a silicone cover that prevents scratches on the bicycle frame.

A CR2 battery is included. Replacing the battery does not erase the stored fingerprints. The 85 cm version is suited to short anchor points and can be carried around the seat post during transit. Available in black.

The YARDO 7807F/85 is suited as a primary lock in low to medium risk environments where speed of use is a priority, or as a secondary lock paired with a higher security chain or U-lock for higher value bicycles.
